Calling for Department of Medicine Research Day poster submissions!
Showcase your work at the 4th Annual Department of Medicine Research Day Poster Session.
Theme: "Discovery to Delivery: Real-World Impact of Translational Research"
While this year's theme highlights translational impact, we welcome all exciting research across clinical, behavioral, and basic science domains.

Eligibility & Priority
- Posters from the UCSD Department of Medicine will be prioritized.
- Submissions from other UCSD departments and external institutions are also welcome.
- Non-UCSD attendees will be required to pay a registration fee.
- Everyone is welcome to submit a poster, but priority will be given to junior people.
Who can submit?
Postdoctoral fellows, residents/fellows, junior faculty (≤3 years from appointment), students (all levels), clinicians, and other health professionals.
Judging and Awards
Judges will circulate during the poster session, and all presenters must be present for the award ceremony at the end of the event.
How do I submit an application?
Send the following to Mayra Rodriguez (mvrodriguez@health.ucsd.edu) by Friday, January 16, 2026:
- Abstract (<300 words) excluding title and author list
- CV or NIH-style biosketch (<5 pages)
