The Department of Medicine invites all UC San Diego research community members to join us for our 4th Annual Research Day on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Browse our site for more details.

The Department is home to many outstanding researchers and clinicians.

In alignment with the department’s research mission, DOM Research Day will:

Showcase local diverse talent with a view towards fostering multidisciplinary collaborations,
Promote team building and networking opportunities,
Connect clinicians and junior members to potential research mentors or laboratories,
Inspire trainees to see the excitement of an academic career.

Who can attend?

Research Day is open to all UC San Diego faculty, students, and staff. Registration required. 200 max capacity.

What is this year's theme?

The topic of our 4th Annual Research Day will focus on "Discovery to Delivery: Real-World Impact of Translational Research" and is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
